9.0 FAQ/ TROUBLESHOOTING
Please refer to the table below when troubleshooting.
Problem
Solution
No power
Check power cord connection. Make sure you have out let power.
DVR is not responding when pressing keys. You might be under “Key Lock” mode. Press any key and enter
the password to exit mode.
Timer record is not working Check if “TIMER RECORD ENABLE” option is set to “YES”.
Not getting live video Confi rm you have power coming to the camera.
Check camera lens settings.
Check the monitor’s video cable and connection
Not recording video Make sure hard drive is installed and connected properly
Run factory default reset.
Clear hard drive.
Make sure date and time is correct.
Make sure DVR is in OverWrite mode, Set Over Write to ON.
DVR keeps rebooting Make sure the hard drive internal power cable is installed
correctly, or change to a compatible hard drive.
Replace hard drive for testing.
Replace hard drive cable for testing.
HDD detection failed Make sure hard drive “Master”, “Slave” setting is correct.
Run factory default reset.
Clear hard drive.
Make sure date and time is correct.
Can’t detect your USB fl ash drive
Replace with another USB fl ash drive for testing.
Can’t view the DVR video over the network Update the JAVA program in Video Web Server.
Update AP Software in Video Web Server.
Go over network settings in this manual.
Can’t play the recorded video.
Must have at least 8192 images of recorded data for playback to
work properly.
Make sure date and time is correct.
