5.20. Advanced Settings for Wind Turbines

To configure wind turbine settings, click on the ADVANCE icon.

What this page displays:

If one or both of the MPPTs are connected to a wind turbine.

What you can do from this page:

Select the MPPT to be used as a turbine input.

The table below shows the maximum current depending on the voltage of the wind turbine.

PLEASE NOTE

DO NOT use a wind turbine that exceeds 400V.

Use a self-breaking wind turbine. Once the batteries are fully charged and the inverter is not

exporting any power the load can drop. This can cause the turbine to speed up dramatically,

which can be very dangerous and usually happens suddenly. Thus, it is essential to use a self-

breaking turbine.
