How to replace the internal battery
When the internal battery of your M60 device clearly loses capacity ager
some time, we recommend you to have it replaced. Our customer service will
inform you about the current conditions for battery replacements.
You can bring your internal battery to an authorized dealer to be changed or
you can do so yourself. If you decide to change the battery yourself, please
follow the instructions below:
Before replacing the internal battery shut off the M60 and disconnect all
devices. Than you only have to remove two screws from battery cover on
the backside of the M60. Open the cover and remove the internal battery by
unfastening the plug. To install the new battery proceed in inverse order.
Use only the internal battery specified by the manufacturer.
Never attempt to separate or modify the internal battery!
Make sure that you do not short-circuit the internal battery terminals when removing
or changing the battery. An short-circuit may occur when the positive and negative
battery terminals come into contact via a metal object (e.g. a coin, paperclip,
aluminium foil). This may cause a very quick heat-up of the internal battery which can
destroy the internal battery and can lead to injuries and heat damages. To prevent any
problems of this kind, keep the internal battery away from metal objects.
Do not expose the internal battery to fire or to temperatures in excess of 60 °C!
