When using this fire starter, basic safety precautions, including
the following, should always be followed to reduce the risk of
fire, electric shock, personal injury and material damage.

To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock,
do not expose this product to rain or moisture. Store indoors.
Do not leave it outdoors.

NEVER submerge the unit in any liquid.

Be aware that heat from this tool could
ignite flammable materials in hidden areas such as walls,
ceilings, floors or soffit boards. The ignition of these materials
may not be obvious and could result in property damage and
personal injury.
1. Read all the instructions before using the appliance.
2. To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary
when an appliance is used near children.
3. Do not contact hot parts.
4. This appliance is not intended to be used by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or persons with lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by
someone responsible for their safety.
5. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.

Ensure that the fire starter is properly positioned before
turning on.
9.
Allow the fire starter to cool completely before storage.
10.
Do not allow the hot parts of the fire starter to touch any
flammable materials.
11.
Remove the battery from the fire starter before charging.
12.
Do not mix different batteries, or new and used batteries.
13. Check the polarity of the battery before inserting into the
fire starter.
14.
Remove the battery before storing the fire starter.
15. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
Work Area Safety
1. Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas
invite accidents.
2.
Do not operate the fire starter in explosive atmospheres,
such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or
dust.
3.
Keep children and bystanders away while operating a fire
starter. Distractions can cause you to lose control.

Do not expose the fire starter to rain or wet conditions.
Water entering the unit will increase the risk of electric
shock.

Recharge only with the charger specified by the
manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of
battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with
another battery pack.
3.
Use appliances only with specifically designated battery
packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of
injury and fire.
4. When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from
other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails,
screws or other small metal objects that can make a
connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the
battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
