Oil Pressure

During normal operation the gearbox internal
lube pump will maintain oil pressure between 15
and 60 psig (1.0 and 4.2kg/cm

2

). This oil

pressure can vary depending on the bearing

configuration and characteristics of the oil being
used.

Note: Never operate the gearbox with oil

pressure less than 10 psig (0.7 kg/cm

2

)
