Operating Instructions:
Before use, check the electrical cord for
any tears or damage before use.
Connect the electrical cord to the
AC adaptor. (figure A)
Before inserting the filters, rinse the
charcoal filter cartridge thoroughly
in cold water to remove any loose
charcoal. Note that a small amount
of charcoal dust may discard for the
life of the filter. This is normal and will
not harm your pet.
Hold the two filters together with
the particle filter facing front and
the charcoal filter behind it, white
side facing front. (figure B)
Insert the filters (particle filter facing
forward) into the filter slot in the base
of the fountain. Make sure the filters
are pushed all the way down.

Note- If the fit is too tight, rotate the
filters and insert into the filter slot.
Fill the base with water. Make certain
both sides of the filters are completely
submerged to the top of the filters.
