Unpacking and Moving the Cabinet
The following instructions illustrate how to unpack and move the 7700 cabinet. As a
prerequisite to this task, familiarize yourself with the 7420/7720 storage controller rear panel
section of the
Sun ZFS Storage 7x20 Service Manual at http://wikis.sun.com/display/fishworks.

Use a forklift or pallet jack to move the shipping carton to a location that is as close to the
installation site as possible.
Ensure that you have enough space to remove the storage system from the shipping pallet. See
the
Space Requirements section for dimensions.
Cut the straps that hold the carton onto the shipping pallet.
Remove the top of the carton, and unlock the sides of the carton.
