The outdoor cooking gas appliance and its
individual shut-off valve must be disconnected from
the gas supply piping system during any pressure
testing of the system at test pressures in excess of ½
Psi (3.5 kPa).
The outdoor cooking gas appliance must be isolated
from the gas supply piping system by closing its
individual manual shut-off valve during any pressure
testing of the gas supply piping system at test
pressures equal to or less than ½ Psi (3.5 kPa).
The supply line must be sized and installed to
provide a sufficient supply of gas to meet the
maximum demand of the grill without undue loss of
pressure. The sealant used on the threaded joints of
the gas pipe must be a type resistant to the action of
LP gases.
