4. Splice program
The product has splice programs pre-installed as a template. The programs are
optimized according to the optical fiber profiles.

*1: In Auto mode, the splicer automatically detects the fiber count loaded and selects a suitable
splice program for the fiber count. As it automatically optimizes arc power every fusion splice,
normally it is not necessary to perform an arc test.
*2: Perform an arc test before splicing if using splice programs other than Auto mode.
