Broil Mode
The top element is used to conduct an intense, radiant
heat which browns one side of the food at a time.
Broil Mode Usage:
Never preheat for Broil mode.
•
Temperature probe may not be used in this mode.
•
Timer function may be used during this mode.
•
To initiate Broil Mode (See Figure 2-13):
Turn knob assembly to BROIL.

Twist the selector knob to energize the unit.

Temperature is preset to "br1" for 550°F (290°C)-Hi

Broil.
Adjust oven temperature by turning the selector
4
knob to decrease the oven setting to "br2" for
450°F (230°C)-Med Broil or "br3" for 350°F
(175°C)-Low Broil. Oven turns on after 2 seconds
or press ENTER key.
To exit Broil Mode, turn knob assembly to OFF.

Convection Mode
Dual convection fans, each with a heating element,
operate from the back of the oven and move heated air
throughout the entire oven cavity. Uniform air move-
ment makes it possible to cook on all six rack levels
simultaneously.
Convection Mode Usage:
Always preheat for Convection mode.

The temperature display alternates between the set
•
point and actual oven temperatures during preheat.
Oven chimes when oven preheat temperature has
•
been achieved.
Temperature probe may be used in this mode.
•
Timer function may be used during this mode.
•
Temperatures below 150°F (65°C) are displayed by
•
the word "Lo" in the oven knob display window dur-
ing preheat.
To initiate Convection Mode (See Figure 2-14):
Turn oven knob assembly to

Twist the selector knob to energize the unit.

Temperature is preset at 325°F (160°C).

Adjust oven temperature by turning the selector knob

to the right to increase oven temperature or to the left
to decrease. Oven turns on after 2 seconds or press
ENTER key.
To exit Convection Mode, turn knob assembly to

OFF.
