To install the STB properly for the Software & Channel
data transfer follow the instruction as described, and
note that the two receiver should be the same model.
Channel data transfer: The Data transfer function is
required, if you want to copy all programmed channel
data’s and settings of your STB to another STB.
Software transfer: The software transfer function is required, if you want to copy the
complete program of your STB to another STB.
Data Transfer: Select which STB is the sending or receiving unit. Turn the slave unit
off and press SELECT key to start the transfer of the master/sending unit.
If the data transfer is completed “Complete!” will be displayed.
To receive an updated STB download program for the PC to transfer to your STB,
contact your local dealer for details.
After “Complete!” is displayed, unplug and plug in the power cord and turn the slave
or receiving unit “ON”.
Connection: Connect both receiver with a null modem ( 9-9) cable and connect the
RS 232 serial cable to the RS 232 serial socket on the STB and/or PCB.
