Charger Cable & Jumper Cables
●
You may not reconstruct, self-repair, or disassemble the Jump Starter. This can damage the
device.
●
Maintenance, modifications, and repairs may only be carried out by an expert or a qualified
shop.
●
Check the device from time to time for damage. Never use the device if the Jump Starter, the
jumper cables, or the charger cable shows signs of damage.
●
The Jump Starter cannot be used as a charger for a vehicle battery.
●
The Jump Starter is only to be used as emergency power and it cannot be used instead of a
vehicle battery.
●
Do not jumpstart a vehicle while charging the Jump Starter.
●
Do not charge the Jump Starter immediately after use or while it is still hot. Let it cool down
first.
●
To prevent damage to the home charger and/or the Jump Starter, make sure your power
mains
●
socket supplies the correct power supply for the charger.
●
The mains socket must be located near the device and be easily accessible.
●
Unplug the home charger from the mains socket if you do not use the device and before
cleaning the Jump Starter.
●
Never force the plug of the home charger into a mains socket; if it does not fit easily into the
mains socket, please stop using it. Always make sure that the plug of your charger is properly
connected to the mains socket.
●
It is normal for the home charger to feel a little warm; however, a loose fit between the mains
socket and the plug of the charger can cause overheating and deformation of the plug. Contact
a qualified electrician to replace the loose or worn mains socket.
●
To disconnect the charger, grasp the charger housing and pull the charger out of the mains
socket.
●
If the power fails during the operation, turn off the device immediately and pull the home
charger plug from the mains socket.
●
If there’s smoke, fire, odor, or a strange noise coming from your device, you should turn off the
device and contact a service center.
●
For safety reasons, always unplug the device in case of a thunderstorm.
●
Do not modify the cables.
●
Check the cables periodically for damage. Never use a cable if there are any signs of damage.
●
Do not touch a cable if it is damaged. A damaged cable can cause a deadly electric shock.
●
To prevent risks, damaged cables may only be replaced by the manufacturer, a professional
workshop appointed by the manufacturer, or a similarly qualified person.
●
Never pull a cable from its connection by pulling at the cable. Always pull on the connector.
●
Never wrap a cable around the device.
●
Make sure that you do not trip over a cable.
●
Do not let a cable hang over the edge of a table or counter.
●
The cables should not be kinked, trapped, or twisted.
