- Children older than 3 years and younger than 8 years of age can only switch the appliance on and off,
provided that it is placed and installed in its normal operating position, if children are supervised or instructed
in the safe use of the appliance and understand the possible dangers of using it. .
- Before connecting the pump to the power supply, make sure that the voltage in your electrical socket
corresponds to the data on the rating plate of the appliance.
- Install the pressure control unit before use.
-
CAUTION!
The pump must not be used if there are people in the pool or in a garden pond! Do not use the
pump even if there are fish or other living creatures in the pool or garden pond. The appliance should be
installed by an electrician.
-
CAUTION!
For your personal safety, have the experts check the following before starting the pump for the
first time:
•
• Circuit breaker (must comply with energy safety standards and operate flawlessly)
•
Electrical connection:
▪
must be protected from moisture
▪
must be raised higher if there is a risk of flooding
•
Power cable.
▪
replace it if it is cracked, frayed or otherwise damaged. A damaged power cord may only be
replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized service center.
- Never carry the pump by the cable connecting the pump to the distribution box.
- Any work on the electrical accessories or internal parts of the pump may only be carried out by an
authorized service center.
INSTALLATION
- CAUTION!
Read the entire operating instructions carefully before starting the installation.
- Correct installation depth is a basic prerequisite for good pump operation. If the pump is placed at the
wrong depth, it may be damaged due to dirt suction or idling. Install the bottom of the pump
at least 1 m
from the bottom. The pump located in the borehole should be installed above the perforations, in the worst
case in the perforations, but not below the perforations.
- Mount the discharge line to the pump. We recommend using plastic pipes. The piping must never be smaller
than the diameter of the pump suction port.
- Use a rope to fix and secure the pump.
- Before starting the pump in a well, borehole or shaft, always make sure that the well, borehole or shaft is
of sufficient size. There should be a gap between the pump and the wall of the well, borehole or shaft. Make
sure that the pump does not touch the wall of a well, borehole or shaft.
- When lowering the pump into a well, borehole or shaft, gradually fasten the cable to connect the pump to
the distribution box at least every 2 m to the discharge line with insulating tape or cable ties so that the cable
is not fully tensioned but rather hangs slightly.
- When lowering the pump into a well, borehole or shaft, make sure that the cable connecting the pump to
the distribution box is not subjected to pull and that no objects fall into the well, borehole or shaft. These
could get stuck between the pumps and the wall of the well, borehole or shaft so that the pump can no
longer be pulled out.
- The pump must only be installed in a horizontal position.
- Mount the pump distribution box on the wall in the shaft (or process room). Mount it high enough to
prevent it from flooding. Connect the switch box to the power supply. The distribution box is not suitable for
installation in an open outdoor environment. Leakage of water into the distribution box will cause irreversible
damage to the device.
SWITCH ON/OFF
- WARNING!
Dry running will seriously damage the pump!
- Switch on the pump by moving the switch in the control box to position "I".
- Switch off the pump by moving the switch in the control box to the "O" position.
