2.5 Castors and Brakes
Every Stralus bed comes fitted with a braking
castor system, containing the following modes:
— Total Brake
— Neutral
— Direction Lock
Central Locking is controlled through
the Brake Pedal at the foot end of the bed.
2.6 Battery (Optional)
Your Stralus bed can be fitted with an optional
battery backup pack, that allows operation without
mains power.
At your bed’s Safe Working Load the battery will
last for 15 minutes of continuous operation. This is
enough to raise and lower the bed 8 times.
The battery is automatically recharged when the bed
is plugged back into mains power.
Your battery will require 3 hours to be fully recharged.
The battery can only be replaced by a trained
service technician. For battery related faults please
refer to the troubleshooting section.
