Switch from microphone to auxiliary modulation input. On transmission the microphone
indicator will light up. The auxiliary setting has its own indicator.
When switched on, the microphone will NOT work.

To switch On/Off radio RX signal strength indicator (if the RSSI module is present) in the
last 2 digits of the display. Range from 00 to 99 correspond to the RSSI output level of
the module from 0 to 2 Volt. If the RSSI module is not present ‘00’ will be presented.
Tone (Call transmitter)
Switch on/off tone transmit. This key has its own indicator. Indicator on = tone activated.

To select tone frequency. The program has the 63 standard CTCSS tones + 1750 Hz
tone burst. When the RSSI module is not in place tones will only work for TX and
NOT
for
RX. Tones have to be set per channel.
How to select and set the tone frequency:
To set the tone click

. In the right part of the display the
current tone frequency will appear instead of the transmission frequency.
By repeatedly pressing the
Tone
key select the desired CTCSS or the 1750Hz tone.
CL
is back to previous.
Press
CH
to set the selected tone to the current channel. The tone will be set only
for channels stored in memory!
To unfix the tone from the channel click
CH
and then
CL
.
New tones can be set without unfixing the previous tone.

Swap receive and transmit frequencies (in semi-duplex channels) in

Start/stop automatic channel scanning at the
scan sub-mode
. In
simplex mode
at the
scan sub-mode to start/stop automatic frequency scanning from low frequency to upper
independently how they were set.
