Inserting a blade
Safety instructions:
Make sure that
the blade is only changed with the
battery removed to avoid unintentio-
nal actuation of the trigger and inju-
ries. After using the device, allow
sufficient time for the blade and bla-
de holder to cool down to avoid burns
when fitting the blade.
Warning:
HotKnife 36 V blades have
a sharp edge for clean cuts. The cut
direction must always be in the direc-
tion of the sharp edge of the blade.
Blade
1.
Release the screws on the blade holder using the Allen key provided.
2.
Push the blade under the pressure plate up to the stop.
3.
Carefully tighten the screws to ensure optimum electrical contact.
4.
Once the blade is fastened, insert the supplied 36 V li-ion battery into
the device.
Warning:
Excessive power and heat development can overheat the blade holder cau-
sing a failure of the device. Only use as much power as needed to perform
the cut. The blade does not need to be red hot to cut through Polystyrene.
