Loading the lower basket
Larger items such as pots, pans, lids, serving dishes and bowls are often the most
difficult to clean and are best placed onto the lower basket, as illustrated below (Fig. 13).

Load large serving dishes and lids on the side of the baskets so they do not block
the rotation of the top spray arm.
•
Always place pots and bowls upside down into the basket or at a slant so the
water can flow out.
•
The bottom basket features fold-down tine rows (as illustrated in Fig. 14), so that
larger or more pots and pans can be loaded.
Folding down the tine rows
If you need more space to load
pots and pans in the lower
basket, you can fold down
the tine rows at the back, as
illustrated on the right (Fig. 14).
Each row can be folded
separately, or both together to
obtain a larger area.
