•  Place a bracket each in the slots and, using the screws provided, affix the 

bracket to the cooktop and then tighten the screws securely (Fig. 7). This 
is very important.

NOTE: 

Fig. 7 illustrates how to affix the brackets to the cooktop. At this 

stage of the installation process the cooktop should be sitting securely 
in the benchtop cut-out and the sealing tape should be fitted around the 
edge. 

•  The other end of the bracket should be located underneath the benchtop 

to secure the hob in position (Fig. 8).
