Electrical work
Should any electrical work be required associated with the electrical outlet
that is to be used for the cooktop, all such work must be carried out by an
appropriately qualified, licensed electrician in accordance with the latest
edition of AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Regulations.

— Disconnect power before servicing the unit!
Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the supply voltage marked
on the rating plate corresponds with your mains supply voltage.

The mains supply cable is supplied with this product.
Replacing the mains supply cable
If the mains supply cable is damaged, then it must be replaced by an
appropriate replacement in accordance with the following instructions:
• Switch the appliance off at your mains supply.
• Open the box of the supply board.
• Unscrew the clamp fixing the cable.
• Replace the cable with one of the same length and in accordance with
the specification given on the previous page.
• The “green-yellow” earth wire must be connected to the terminal marked
. It must be about 10mm longer than the live and neutral wires.
• The “blue” neutral wire must be connected to the terminal marked with
the letter (N). The live wire must be connected to the terminal marked with
the letter (L).
