Vehicle Disassembly
1. Remove the knee bolster panel
below the steering wheel. Start at the
bottom of the panel, pull away from
the dash to release the retaining clips.
2. Remove the Phillips screw to the
left of the steering column.
3. Lower the steering wheel to its
lowest position to remove the gauge
cluster trim panel. Start on the left
side, and pull the panel toward the
rear of the vehicle.
When removing the right side, hold
the air vent while releasing the right
side retaining clips.
Unplug the wire harness(s) connected
to the left side of the trim panel.
4. Up inside the center pocket, below
the radio/climate control, remove the
two 8mm bolts.
