el, Adblue® level (only for MTU engine),

engine temperature, neutral and park brake

status.

If the engine fails to start:

–

Ensure that the preheating process is com-

plete. Depending on the truck version, tem-

perature and altitude, preheating may re-

quire up to one minute or more. Once the

preheating process is complete, engage the

starter until the engine runs at idle speed.

Do not engage the starter continuously for

more than 30 seconds.

NOTE

A block against repeat starting is active and

the engine cannot be started.

–

Always leave the ignition switched on until

the symbol goes out.

–

Then try to restart.

To protect the battery, wait at least one minute

between each starting procedure. If the engine

still does not start after a third attempt to start


