Replacing the starter rope
:
Move slide control in direction of
c
– arrow to
STOP-O
.
:
Take out the screws
(

).
:
Lift the starter cover
(

) off the
housing.
:
Remove the spring clip (

).
:
Remove the rope rotor with
washer (

) and pawl (
5
).
:
Remove remaining rope from the
rotor and grip.
:
Tie a simple overhand knot in the
new rope (see "Specifications") and
then thread it through the top of the
grip and the rope bushing (

).
