4.2 Intended Use
The STIHL FS 511 or FS 561 trimmer is
designed for the following applications:

with a mowing head: Mowing grass

with a grass cutting blade: Mowing grass and
weeds
–
with a brush knife: Cutting brush with a stem
diameter up to 20 mm
–
with a shredder blade: mowing and shredding
thickets with a diameter of up to 20 mm
–
with a circular saw blade: Cutting shrubs with
a stem diameter up to 70 mm
