10.4 Completing the installation
10.4.1 Installation on finished walls
f f Fit the casing door in reverse order to its removal.

incorrect installation can lead to flames and smoke
spreading through the supply duct in case of a fire.
f f Observe the fire regulations.
f f insulate the wall recess correctly.
f f Close off/plaster the wall recess.

Place the frame on the casing for unfinished walls so that
the 4 fixing tabs are located on the screws. Tighten the
screws.
f f Fit the casing door in reverse order to its removal. Ensure
you insert the rebate of the casing door into the frame.
11. Commissioning
f f Check the pipework and connections for leaks.
f f
Visually inspect the appliance for leaks.
f f Open the shut-off valves.
Venting the DHW pipework
f f
Open a nearby DHW draw-off point until the pipework is
free from air.
Filling and venting the heating system
WARNING Electrocution
Protect the electronics of the integral instantaneous
water heater from escaping water.
f f
Fill and vent the central heating system according to the
heat generator operating and installation instructions.
f f Open the thermostatic valves of the connected radiators.
f f
Draw off hot water to make water flow through the heat
exchanger.
f f Open the air vent screw (see chapter "Settings") until
water runs out.
f f Bleed the connected radiators.
Checking/correcting the heating water flow rate for a
heating circuit with mixer
f f Ensure heat supply through the central heat generator.
The flow temperature should have reached the design
value for the network.
f f
Set the temperature controller to the required flow tem-
perature at the control valve.
f f Switch on the pump.
f f
Perform hydronic balancing of the underfloor heating
circuit at the heating circuit distributor according to the
design engineer's specifications.
f f Do not draw off any DHW while testing the heating water
flow rate. Make sure that all thermostatic valves and un-
derfloor heating control valves are fully open.
f f after balancing is complete, check the set flow tempera-
ture again.
