7. Safety
Only qualified contractors should carry out installation, commis-
sioning, maintenance and repair of the appliance.
7.1
General safety instructions
We guarantee trouble-free operation and operational reliability
only if the original accessories and spare parts intended for the
appliance are used.
7.2
Instructions, standards and regulations
Observe all applicable national and regional regulations
and instructions.
7.3 Water
installation
7.3.1 Cold water line
Steel or copper pipes or plastic pipework are approved materials.
A safety valve is required.
7.3.2 DHW
line
Copper or plastic pipework are approved materials.
Risk of damage
When using plastic pipework, observe chapter "Specifi-
cation / Fault conditions".
The appliance must be operated with pressure taps.
8. Appliance
description
Both heating elements are located inside a protective pipe. This
enables a „dry“ replacement of the heating elements. The ap-
pliance does not need to be drained when replacing the heating
elements. The heating elements are each secured with a safety
cotter pin.
8.1 Standard
delivery
Delivered with the appliance are:
- 2 mounting brackets (already fixed to the appliance)
- Safety valve (SYR) with non-return valve
9. Installation
9.1 Installation
location
The appliance is designed for installation on a solid wall. Ensure
the wall offers adequate load bearing capacity.
There should be a suitable drain near the appliance to drain off
the expansion water.

Always install the appliance vertically or horizontally as
shown, in a room free from the risk of frost and near a hot
water draw-off point.
Ensure that the temperature selector is accessible from
the front.
9.2 Appliance
installation
The mounting brackets attached to the appliance have hook-in
slots, which in most cases enable installation on the bolts that
are already in place from previous appliances.

Otherwise, transfer the dimensions for the holes to be drilled
onto the wall (see chapter „Specification / Wall mounting“).
ª
Select rawl plugs and screws or threaded studs with washers
and nuts according to the wall construction/condition.
ª
Drill the holes and insert the screws or nuts until a clearance
of approx. 10 mm towards the wall remains.
ª
Hook the appliance with mounting brackets onto the screws
or bolts. Observe the dry weight of the appliance (see chapter
„Specification / Data table“) and, if necessary, ask another
person for help.

Align the appliance vertically or horizontally.
ª
Tighten all screws or nuts.
