4  Frost protection setting 7 °C
E  Economy setting 40 °C
e  Economy setting 60 °C
5  Maximum set temperature

As soon as the water temperature drops below the selected value,
the heating element automatically switches on. The ON/OFF in-
dicator light illuminates until the selected temperature has been
reached.

For low water consumption or very hard water, we recommend a
low temperature setting, as water above approx. 55 °C deposits
limescale.

4.1.1   Holiday and absence

ª

If the appliance is not in use for long periods, set it to frost
protection or disconnect it from the power supply, in order to
save energy.

ª

For reasons of hygiene, heat up the content of the cylinder
once to above 60 °C before initial use.

4.2 Rapid

heat-up

You can increase the output with the rapid heat-up button. A
second heating element is switched on (see chapter „Specification
/ Data table“). The second heating element is switched off when
the selected temperature has been reached.

5.  Cleaning, care and maintenance

ª

Never use abrasive or corrosive cleaning agents. A damp
cloth is sufficient for cleaning the appliance.

ª

Check the taps regularly. You can remove limescale deposits
at the tap outlets using commercially available descaling
agents.

ª

Have the electrical safety of the appliance and the func-
tion of the safety assembly regularly checked by a heating
contractor.

ª

Have the protective magnesium anode checked by a heating
contractor after the first year. The heating contractor will
then determine the intervals at which it must be checked
thereafter.

ª

Regularly activate the safety valve to prevent it from becom-
ing blocked by limescale deposits.

6.  What to do if ...

6.1

... the appliance develops faults

%|şùŒ

|şń¼

áV¼ă¼®ź

The water does not

heat up and the ON/OFF

indicator does not il-

luminate.

There is no power.

Check the fuse/MCB in

your fuse box/distribu-

tion panel.

The water does not heat

up sufficiently and the

ON/OFF indicator illumi-

nates.

The temperature is set

too low.

Select a higher tempera-

ture.

T he appliance heat s,

for example, after large

amounts of DHW have

been drawn.

Wait until the ON/OFF

indicator goes out.

The outlet flow rate is

low.

The perlator in the tap or

shower head is scaled or

contaminated.

Clean and/or descale the

perlator or the shower

head.

If you cannot remedy the fault, notify your heating contractor. To
facilitate and speed up your enquiry, please provide the serial
number from the type plate (000000 and 0000-00000):
