Batteries

The batteries are maintenance-free and do not require additional attention when used

normally. Clean the battery terminals if necessary and tighten them.

WARNING

Do not use an external battery charger (booster) to charge the batteries. Only

use the built-in Stertil-Koni battery charger. Loading the batteries with a standard

charger can cause explosive gasses to be produced.

WARNING

Only replace the batteries with original Stertil-Koni batteries. Universal (car)

batteries can produce explosive gasses during normal charging. Recharging

defective or totally discharged batteries can cause explosive gasses to be

produced.

5.8

Settings screen

When the [SETTINGS] button is pressed in the main screen, the settings screen will

appear.

NOTE

Some settings cannot be changed by an operator because these screens require

a higher login level. A PIN code is required to have access to these settings. A

description of these screens is given in the Service Manual.

5.8.1

User Settings

There are three screens for defining user settings. The individual screens can be

selected by pressing buttons [1], [2] and [3] at the bottom of the screen.
