General safety instructions

If performing operational or maintenance activities, always carry out these activities

with the greatest caution to avoid injuries or damage to the equipment.
Always adhere to the local safety regulations. The safety instructions in this manual

only serve as a guideline. Stertil B.V. is not liable for damage or physical injury as a

result of ignoring the safety instructions.
Examples of local safety instructions are:
• A safety plan

• Work area must be shielded off or clearly marked with signs indicating that

technicians are responsible for their own safety.

• A first-aid kit has to be present.

DANGER

Modifications to parts or to the operating system may result in danger for

the user. The compliance as well as guarantee will then be voided.

WARNING

If you are not familiar with the vehicle lift, read the operator manual and

especially this chapter about safety before starting to operate the vehicle lift.

WARNING

Do not use the vehicle lift for purposes other than those specified.

WARNING

Never operate the vehicle lift when persons, goods or anything related are on it,

under it or in front of it.

WARNING

At all times, the user of the vehicle lift is responsible for a safe operation of the

lift and should always notice the maximum lifting height to prevent damage to the

vehicle and the building.

All persons working on the vehicle lift must have free access to the instruction

manuals.

places where the operators and engineers are exposed to sustained risk in their daily
