Use Navigator A to highlight «Mode» in the main menu. Press the Select [ ■ ] button to activate the
Mode popup submenu and use Navigator B to highlight «Smith Chart» submenu mode option.
Finally press the Select
[ ■ ]
button to enter into Smith Chart mode.
As in the Scalar Chart mode, the measurements are performed continuously unless paused by
pressing the Run/Hold
[ ►|| ] button.
The impedance measurement data and marker positions are preserved when changing to the
Scalar Chart mode and vice versa. For example, markers can be set at the zero reactance points of
the plot (where the plot crosses the X axis) in the Smith Chart mode and see them in Cartesian
format in the Scalar Chart mode.
