TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
ENGLISH
DEFINITIONS:
The term MIG synergic welding means a technology that is able to optimise welding
parameters according to the type and speed of the wire, reducing difficulty in regulations
by the user.
The term MIG pulsed synergic welding, like synergic welding, means a technology that
is able to optimise welding parameters according to the type and speed of the wire,
reducing difficulty in regulations by the user; in addition there is a control of the output
current pulses, so as to have a more stable electric arc and to facilitate fusions of
particular materials (such as aluminium), which otherwise would be difficult.
THE PULSED SYNERGIC PROGRAMS ARE INDICATED ON THE FRONT PANEL
WITH THE LETTER
P
ATTENTION: THE SYNERGIES CAN ONLY BY USED IN THE MIG 2 TIMES,
MIG 4 TIMES and MIG SPOT WELDING MODES
Setting and Regulating MIG welding parameters in synergic and pulsed synergic mode
To make welds using the machine
’
s synergic programs, the following settings must be
carried out:
1) Set the desired MIG mode (see previous paragraphs)
2) Inserting synergic mode –
Press the SYNERGIC button (ref.26 page 9), this will
switch ON the respective led (ref.27 page 9) .
3) Selecting the wire diameter–
Press in sequence the SELECT WIRE button (ref.24
page 9), this will switch on one of the 3 wire diameter leds 0.8 - 1.0 - 1.2 (ref.23 page 9),
depending which one you want to weld with.
4) Selecting the program of the material to be welded –
Press in sequence the SELECT
PROGRAM button (ref.22 page 9), this will switch on one of the 8 leds (ref.21 page 9)
which refer to the type of material you want to weld. The displays (ref.5-7 page 9) will
show a message indicating the program selected.
ATTENTION –
the programs identified with the letter
P
are pulsed synergic programs.
5) Regulating the slope down –
Regulation active only for the pulsed programs P -
Pressing the SET button (ref.10 page 9) selects the time of the slope down Sd2. The
right-hand display (ref.7 page 9) will start to blink, indicating the letters Sd2; with the V/
SET encoder (ref.8 page 9) you can regulate the value from 0.01 to 2 seconds. Pressing
the SET button (ref.10 page 9) selects the time of the slope up Sd1. The right-hand
display (ref.7 page 9) will start to blink, indicating the letters Sd1, the approach speed
increases and the duration of the impulse for the length of time shown on the display so
as to improve the START according to the requirements of the operator. To view the set
value at any time, briefly press the SET button.
6) Regulating the wire speed from the generator –
Press the A/ wire speed button
