AP Bridge - WDS

In AP Bridge - WDS, the WAP1011BB is able to bridge wired Ethernet networks and still
provide connection service for other wireless stations. AP Bridge - WDS mode is a
combination of AP Mode and AP Bridge - Point to Multi-Point mode, 

When you are satisfied with your WDS settings, click Apply.

Parameter

Description

Mode

The mode fields shows that the WAP is AP Bridge - WDS 
mode.

Alias Name

You can change the alias name of the WAP. 

ESSID

You can change the ESSID (up to 31 printable ASCII characters)
for your WAP. Remember, in order for your wireless clients to 
associate with each other, they must have the same ESSID.

Channel Number

You can change the channel the WAP is using. Remember, in 
order for your wireless clients to associate with the WAP, they 
must have the same channel. 

MAC Address

Enter the MAC addresses of your other wireless access points 
that you want to bridge to.
