7.5 Mildew
Mildew caused by moist weather can be recognized by small brown spots
which are found inside the canvas. In most cases this happens because of
a moist awning has been packed for too long. Regardless of the type of
the material the awning is made from, you always need to make sure that
when an awning is packed wet, it is hung to dry within twenty-four hours
and has the opportunity to dry properly.
Use some foil underneath the carpet to avoid condensation from building
up. Of course it is very important that there is enough ventilation.
