3. ERECTING YOUR AIR AWNING
3.1 Ensure that the ground is free of stones and other sharp objects. You
may wish to lay a plastic sheet on the ground to protect your awning.
Unpack and spread the awning on the ground.
3.2 Before you start to insert the awning into the caravan rail, first check the
rail for any sharp edges In order to prevent any damage from happening
to the awning, always remove any obstructions. Also check for any sealant
that may be inside the caravan awning rail.
3.3 The Magnum 260 Air is equipped with 3 pre-assembled arch shaped
inflatable air tubes and 4 roof bars.
The Magnum 390 Air is equipped with 4 arch shaped air tubes and 6 roof
bars.
The Magnum 520 Air is equipped with 5 arch shaped air tubes and 8 roof
bars.
You can easily erect the inflatable awning by using the hand pump
supplied. Select the correct end piece, place it on the hose and attach it to
the valve to inflate.
The base frame of the awning can be inflated by using one of the two
valves, which are attached to the outside of the awning. It does not matter
which valve you choose. Please make sure, the other valve is closed by
screwing the cap hand tight. Make sure that the black valves - attached to
the inside of the roof - are all open when inflating, these are marked clearly
on the values. The black valves connect the main air hoses with each other
by means of a light grey, thinner air hose. If necessary, you can also close
the black valves and close the air hoses separately. This is especially useful
when looking for a possible leak in the air frame.
