eSpinner “No TV/Poor Picture Quality”

Check if:

swapping the coax cable from a working 
nearby unit (if available) resolves the 
picture quality issue
the coax cable is connected to the unit 
the coax cable is connected to the wall
the coax cable is pinched or bent 
between the wall and the unit
the connector used on the coax cable 
has a compression connector installed 
(see document 637-1415)
there is a signal coming out of the coax 
cable and the signal strength is good 
(about 5 db)
the TV option is enabled in the setting 
(see document 637-1335)

All of these 

criteria are met?

Resolve the 

criteria that is NOT 

met.

Check if the coax cable 

that runs inside the 

frame has a solid 

connection with the coax 

cable that comes from 

the wall (base of the 

unit).

Issue resolved.

Is there a solid 

connection?

Disconnect the 

coax cable and 

reconnect it again.

No

Check the coax 

connection between 

the cable that comes 

out of the display and 

the cable that comes 

up from the base.

At the same time 

check for damage or if 

the cable is bent.

Reconnect the cable or replace it if 

needed due to damage (DISPLAY 

coax cable → 740-6976 or NECK coax 

cable → 740-6988)

Check if the display coax 

cable has a solid connection 

to the tuner card (you need 

to open the display to be 

able to check that → see 

document number 637-1404 

for instructions).

Reseat the tuner 

cards main data 

cable and try to 

perform a channel 

scan.

Reconnect the 

coax cable to the 

TV tuner card.

channel scan to the 

correct value. Get the 

info from the
