To prepare the grounding cable of the SM CIRIUS AO, follow the steps below:

Step

Action

Cut the grounding cable

(A)

according to the distance between SM CIRIUS AO and

grounding bar.

Use the tool (item 4) to strip 1 cm from each end of the cable.

Slide the M8 terminal ring

(B)

over the wires at one end of the cable (that will be

connected to grounding bar) and crimp it using the tool (item 8).

Slide the heat shrinkable tube

(E)

over the cable.

Heat it over rear grounding ring body and down on to cable jacket using the tool (item
11).
The following picture shows the correct installation of the ring covered with tube:

Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the other end of the cable (that will be connected to SM
CIRIUS AO) using the M5 terminal ring

(C)

Use the tool (item 7) to tighten the M5 terminal ring of the grounding cable between the
two M5 nuts, as shown below:
