Stand always securely and do not stretch yourself too
much. While working, always keep your balance.
A distance of at least 10 meters should be maintained
to the people standing nearby to the switched on hedge
cutter, so that they are not cut by the blades or can come
into contact with falling objects or flying small parts.
Wear sturdy shoes with anti-slip soles for standing
securely. Safety shoes with steel caps are recommended

Daily maintenance
Warning! Always wear gloves when you work with
the hedge cutter.
• Remove debris and dirt from the blades of the hedge
cutter. Lubricate the blade before and after use and after
filling fuel. Check the blade for damages or incorrect
alignment.
• Check the entire device for
leakage of fuel or lubricant.
• Check for the tightness of nuts, bolts and screws
(except the adjustment bolts on the carburetor).
Warning! Before you maintain, repair or clean
the device, you must make sure that the motor
and the
cutting attachment are switched off. Disconnect the
spark plug connection before you carry out servicing or
maintenance work.

Always wear a helmet to avoid head injuries while using
the device.
Tie up long hair over the shoulder level.
Always wear safety glasses and hearing protection.
We also recommend wearing a face protection as an
additional protection for face and eyes.
Wear non-slip work gloves to be able to hold the
hedge cutter better. Wear tight-fitting clothes, which
nevertheless allows freedom of movement. Never wear
short pants.
