Engineering
The following conditions must be observed during project engineering:
• Correctly routing FO cables (see note).
• Remove the dust caps only immediately prior to connecting the plug connectors!
• Seal the unused fibre optic connections and plug connectors using the supplied dust
caps to prevent dirt.
• Provide auxiliary power according to the specifications found in the "Technical data"
Chapter.

Transport and storage
• Transport and store the device only in the original packaging.
• Store the device in a dry place (no condensation) and vibration-free.
• Do not drop the device.
DANGER
Explosion hazard due to too high temperature in the cabinet!
Non-compliance results in severe or fatal injuries!
• Install and adjust the cabinet in such a way that it is always operated
within the permissible temperature range.
NOTE
Cable damage due to improper routing of the FO cables!
Non-compliance can result in material damage!
• FO cables must be routed in such a manner that mechanical loads such as elon
-
gation, pressure or bending can be eliminated.
• Minimum bending radii (note the manufacturer specifications!) for routing and op
-
erating FO cables must be complied with. A radius > 30 mm is typical.
