Installation
Electrical Connection
• The information given in chapter „Technical Data“ must be observed.
• The conductor must be carefully connected.
• The conductor insulation must reach to the clamping units.
• The conductor must not be damaged (nicked) when removing the insulation.
• Ensure that the maximum permissible conductor temperatures and the maximum
permissible surface temperature are not exceeded by selecting suitable conductors
and means of running them.
WARNING
Danger of electric shock due to energised parts!
Non-compliance can result in severe or fatal injuries.
• All connections and wiring must be disconnected from the power supply.
• Secure the connections against unauthorized switching.
WARNING
Install devices in an enclosure!
Explosion protection is impaired!
• The devices must be completely installed in an enclosure of the degree
of protection IP54 or above.
WARNING
Observe clearance and creepage distances!
Explosion protection is impaired!
• During installation of the devices in an enclosure of the type of protec
-
tion Increased Safety "e" according to IEC/EN 60079-7, the clearance
and creepage distances must be adhered to.
If core end sleeves are used, they must be fitted with a suitable tool.
