7.2

Mounting/dismounting, Operating Position

Information regarding mechanical assembly, such as location of fastening points,

dimensions or weight of the busbar system, is given in the enclosed assembly drawing.

During installation of specially certified devices in the enclosure cover and/or on mounting

plates, ensure that:

• The mechanical strength and stability of the enclosure are not impaired

• The installation conditions (electrical data, equipotential bonding, operating

temperature range, etc.) from the examination certificates of the devices are observed

Installation

Provide a protective roof or wall if the explosion-protected electrical

equipment is exposed to weather.

DANGER

Danger due to live components

Non-compliance results in severe or fatal injuries.

• Only open the enclosure to perform installation, maintenance and

repair work.

• Carefully lock the enclosure after work is completed.

• Only an electrically skilled person is permitted to perform

installation and commissioning of the busbar system.

• Prevent moisture and dirt from building up inside the busbar

system – install the device in a clean, dry environment.

• Ensure that the permissible ambient temperature for the installed

devices and components cannot be exceeded.
