Operation instructions
Turning the unit ON/OFF
To turn on slide the ON/OFF switch to ON, to switch off slide
the ON/OFF switch to OFF.
Connection to music players
Plug the 3.5 mm connector (use the adapter cable if necessary)
into your MP3 player or other portable music device.
Transmission auto ON/OFF function
The transmitter will automatically turn on when an audio signal
is received from the external device and will start to transmit
the music. When transmitting, the transmitting signal
appears on the LCD panel. The transmitter will automatically
turn off transmission when there is no input audio signal for
60 seconds from the external device. The transmitting signal
will disappear from the LCD.
Note:
For best reception please place stabo Minix close to
the radio or the antenna of the radio,
Setting Channels
Tune the frequency of your radio to a channel with a weak
broadcast signal (visit www.bandscan.de to find detailed
information about broadcasting frequencies in Germany.)
Press the SET button, the channel frequency starts to flash
on the display.
Press the UP or the DOWN button to select the same frequen-
cy at stabo Minix. (Press and hold UP or DOWN button for
fast forward or fast backward tuning.)
Press the SET button again to confirm your selection.
You may store up to three favoured frequencies (see storing
channels).
Note:
On a long drive it may be necessary to change the
frequency since broadcast stations differ regionally.
