Installation
stabo Minix transfers the music of your portable player by
wireless transmission to your (car) radio.
Note:
stabo Minix and your radio have to be tuned in to the
same frequency.
Before getting started please find information about broad-
casting frequencies in Germany visiting www.bandscan.de.
You may operate your stabo Minix in the car by using the
cigarette lighter plug or you insert the two rechargeable NiMH
batteries (or two regular, non rechargeable batteries AAA
size).
Note:
If you want to operate the unit with the rechargeable
batteries you have to charge them before getting started!
Installation and charging of rechargeable batteries
Open the battery cover of stabo Minix; install the 2 recharge-
able batteries by following the polarity marking inside the
battery compartment and replace the battery cover.
Plug the small plug of the adaptor into the charger jack.
Connect the cigarette lighter plug to the jack of your car.
It takes approximately 12 to 14 hours to fully charge the
batteries (meanwhile you can use the device).
CAUTION:
Do not connect to the cigarette lighter jack if
regular (non rechargeable) batteries are inserted!
Do not connect to the cigarette lighter jack of a truck (24 V)!
