Turning on/off
Turn the receiver on/off by pushing the channel selector (6). To turn
on choose either channel A or channel B. The green power LED will
light.
Note
: Always switch the channel selectors of both units to the same
position (both A or both B)!
Volume level
Adjust the volume level with the volume button(5):
Button on the right side: volume high
Button on the left side: volume low.
Signal level indicator
The signal strength is indicated by 4 red LED:
One red LED lights up: gentle noise received
Four red LED light up: loud noise received.
Stand by mode
If the receiver does not receive any signal from the transmitter it will
turn to stand by mode automatically. The
is shown on the LC display.
Range control
The range control is automatically activated when turning on the devices.
If the receiver gets out of range or the transmitter is off and there is
no signal for about 5 sec. the green LED (3) lights up and the
flashes.
Low battery indicator
If the battery level is low the symbol
flashes on the LC display.
Insert new batteries respectively charge the rechargeable batteries or
connect the unit to the AC adaptor.
Antenna
Pull out the telescopic antenna for best transmission.
Check of radio reception
The operation distance of Babymonitor 400 is approximately 300
meters (in open area).
But, the range of radio sets depends on many factors, above all the
environment in which the transmission takes place is essential. Each
obstacle (e.g. wall, reinforced concrete floor) reduces the range.

: Make sure that transmitter and receiver are functioning properly
