Stand by mode
If the transmitter does not receive any noise it will turn to stand by
mode automatically. The blue backlight turns off and the
is shown
on the LC display.
Low battery indicator
If the battery level is low the symbol
flashes on the LC display.
Insert new batteries or connect the unit to the AC adaptor.
Room Temperature
The current room temperature is displayed on the LC display of the
transmitter.
Antenna
Pull out the telescopic antenna for best transmission.
Starting up the receiver
Power supply
You may use the AC adaptor (6 V/200 mA), 3 alkaline batteries (type
AAA) or 3 rechargeable NiMH batteries (550 mAh) to operate the
receiver.
Note:
Do always use batteries of the same type. Never mix batteries
of different capacity or rechargeable and non rechargeable batteries!
You may use the charger base to charge rechargeable batteries (see
use of charger base
).
Attention: Do only use the charger base if rechargeable batteries
are inserted, otherwise there is the risk of explosion!
Power supply with AC adaptor
Make sure that the AC adaptor input voltage is the same as the AC
outlet voltage (230 V/50 Hz). Insert the adaptor into the outlet and
connect the plug to the DC IN-jack (10).
Power supply with batteries or rechargeable batteries
Open the cover of the battery compartment (11) on the back of the
housing.
Insert 3 alkaline batteries or rechargeable batteries into the battery
compartment. Observe the polarity markings.
Close the battery compartment.
