• To Format a Memory Card
Formatting a memory card deletes any data already stored on it. You can format the
memory card in the Still Image and Playback modes. Power on the camera.

IMPORTANT!
• You can format a memory card on the camera or on a computer. However formatting a memory card on a computer
takes much longer.
• Note that data deleted by a format operation cannot be recovered. Make sure you do not have any useful data currently
stored on a memory card before you format it.
• About DPOF
DPOF stands for “Digital Print Order Format”, which is a format for recording on a memory card or other
medium which digital camera images should be printed and how many copies of the image should be
printed. Then you can print on a DPOF-compatible printer or at a professional print service.
Changing the DPOF setting:
Power on the camera. Set the Mode Selector to Playback mode . Use the Up/Down button to select a
picture you want to print and then following the steps below to select the number of copies.

NOTE:
You can not change DPOF setting under any one of the conditions:
• When a video clip is selected.
• When no SD card is inserted.
