Tips und Tricks
• Do not heat empty raclette pans on the appliance and do not leave the pans on the hot appliance after use; the
coating could be damaged, and food residue could burn onto the pans and be difficult to remove.
• Grill: From delicious salmon steak to scampi to vegetables – the grill is ideal for cooking all delicate fish, meat, and
vegetables. It is also perfect for preparing crepes.
• Granite slab: From steaks to chops, hamburgers, or sausages, the hot stone is ideal for all hearty foods.
• Cut the meat and fish into bite-size pieces so they get done quicker.
• Brush meat or firm fish lightly with oil before placing it on the hot stone. As an alternative, you can marinate it
beforehand.

With the ribbed surface of the aluminium grill facing up.

Variation B:
With the two crepes forms of the aluminium grill facing up for preparing all kinds of crepes.

Cleaning
Danger!
Pull the plug out of the socket before cleaning. Danger of electric shock!
Danger!
Never immerse the Raclette8, the plug, or the power cord in water or other liquids. Do not clean the
Raclette8 in the dishwasher.
Caution!
Do not use abrasive utensils or materials or cleaning products with a high alcohol content to clean the
Raclette8. They could scratch or damage the parts. Use only household dish soap and water for cleaning.
Clean the Raclette8 after every use.
• The aluminium grill and the granite slab must be removed from the appliance and cleaned separately.
• Clean the aluminium grill, the granite slab, the raclette pans, and the scrapers under warm running water with some
dish soap.
• Use only a damp cloth to clean the casing of the Raclette8.
• Ensure that the appliance and all parts are completely dry before using them again or putting them away.
