6.1.
Starting Up/Operation
1. Use a washable, heat-resistant surface because spattering may occur.
2.
Important:
Please ensure that the cord and raclette pans do not touch the heat coil!
3. Plug the power cord into a suitable socket according to Chapter 14 “Technical Specifications”. The Raclette8 is
now ready to use.
4. Slide the temperature control to the end to heat the grill as quickly as possible.
5. After a few minutes of preheating, the grill is ready to use. The granite slab should be heated up somewhat longer.
6. Brush the grill or stone (if needed, the pans as well) lightly with oil, butter, etc.
7. You can now grill the prepared meat, fish, or vegetables on the grill or stone.
Important:
Do not place frozen
food on the stone.
8. Use the back of the aluminium grill to prepare crepes. Brush it with oil. Put about a tablespoon of batter into the
crepes form and distribute it evenly and allow to bake. Use a sweet or savoury filling as desired.
9. Put the desired ingredients into the raclette pans and place them on the shelf below the heat element.
10. You can adjust the temperature control – to start with it should be somewhat higher and then it can be reduced.
11. When the ingredients are done, remove the raclette pans. To avoid scratching the coating, use the heat-resistant
plastic scrapers to scrape the food from the pans.
12.
Important:
The raclette pans are hot. Hold them only by the heat-resistant handles and place them only on
heat-resistant holders. You can place unused raclette pans in the bottom shelf of the Raclette8 appliance.
13. We recommend not operating the appliance for long periods without food. Switch it off during longer breaks
and switch it back on when needed.
14. Pull the plug from the socket after use and let the appliance cool down completely on the table before putting
it away.
