Test Port Link LED Numbering
The test port link LEDs are numbered as shown in Figure 3 . Only the number for the first
port of each column is labeled on the front panel of the appliance.

Table 5 shows the assigned port numbering for the first port group (or QSFP-DD800 port).
Note:
The numbering for the port group (or QSFP-DD800 port) increments each of the
sub-port numbers above by 8. Then each subsequent cage increments again by 8 in a
similar manner. For example, if the first port groups (or QSFP-DD800 ports) were set to
2x400G PAM4, the ports would be numbered P1, P2, P8, P9, P16, P17, P24, P25.
Powering up the Appliance
Press the power button on the front of the unit ( Figure 2 on page 10 ) to turn on the
appliance.
The typical boot time is seven (7) minutes. Package switch times (switching from Spirent
TestCenter to another product, or from another product to Spirent TestCenter) and
firmware upgrades take approximately 10-15 minutes.
