Nota: tutti i collegamenti devono essere effettuati da elet-

tricisti preparati.

Note: All power connections should be performed by

trained, electricians.

6 - Collegamento della strumentazione

elettrica di controllo

Tutti i Generatori di Vapore indiretto SPIRAX-SARCO possono

essere equipaggiati con valvole elettriche di controllo della pres-

sione e del livello. In questo caso assicurarsi che la tensione di

alimentazione sia corretta.

∆∆∆∆∆

 

La presenza di elettricità ed acqua può determina-

re una situazione di pericolo. Assicurarsi che l’energia elet-

trica sia esclusa prima di iniziare una qualsiasi procedura

di installazione o manutenzione.

Per i collegamenti elettrici riferirsi allo schema di cablaggio che è

fornito con ciascun apparecchio, o alle istruzioni di installazione

contenute nel Manuale di Uso e Manutenzione di ciascun appa-

recchio.

I Generatori di vapore CSM-K sono progettati in modo che in man-

canza di alimentazione l’apparecchio si blocchi automaticamente.

Questo è ottenuto attraverso un sistema di sicurezza incorporato

nell’unità di controllo, il quale per mancata tensione chiude l’alimen-

tazione del primario (vapore/olio/acqua surriscaldata).

Quando accettato dai regolamenti vigenti, il Generatore di Vapore

può essere collegato ad un  sistema di alimentazione ausiliaria per

consentire la continuità operativa durante l’interruzione di energia.

Verificare i regolamenti prima di collegare l’unità di controllo al

sistema di alimentazione ausiliaria per assicurarne la conformità.

Connecting Electrically Activated

Controls

SPIRAX-SARCO Unfired Steam Generators can be equipped

with electrically activated pressure and water level control valves,

in this case connect the correct power source(s) .

 

∆∆∆∆∆

The combination of electricity and water can pose

a very dangerous situation. Assure that all electric power

has been turned off before attempting any installation or

maintenance procedures.

 

Reference the wiring. drawing that is included with the unit, or

the installation instructions contained in the Installation Manual

for the component, for specific wiring instructions.

CSM-K Steam Generators are designed so that if a power failure

or cutoff should occur, the unit will automatically shutdown.

This is accomplished through a “safety system” incorporated in

the unit. The  safety system requires power to operate. If the

power supply is disrupted, the safety system closes the energy

source feed valve.

If permitted by local codes, the Steam Generator can be wired

into the site’s emergency power system, to allow continued

operation during a power failure.

Consult local codes before connecting the unit to an emergency

power source to assure compliance.
