Mechanical Installation

When installing the antenna unit, the cable assembly must be connected
to the cable ends from the bow and stern antenna. After connecting the
cables, secure them to the support with the wire clips and seal the cable
connections with the self-fusing tape provided.

Note

Do not shorten or lengthen the antenna cables. The antennas’ output
gain is matched to the length of the factory-supplied cables
(50 or 75 m respectively).
Antenna unit 73514 / 5008-AA, may only be used with 50 m cables.
Antenna unit 73515 / 5008-AB may only be used with 75 m cables.
