INSTALLATION OF NEW CARTRIDGE
Lubricate the Cartridge O-Rings (

) using provided Lubricant (

). Assemble Cartridge Assembly (

) and Backup
Plate (

) into Valve Body (

). Be sure that Notch (

) from the Bonnet (
7G
) is pointing down.
WARNING
: When reassembling unit, be sure that Tabs (
7H
) from the Cartridge Assemly (
7C
) are set properly on
the Valve Body groves (
7J
).
WARNING:
When reassembling the Cartridge Assembly (
7C
) and Backup Plate (
7D
), be certain that the placement
of the O-ring (
7A
) is not pinched between the casting wall (
7K
). Failure to do so will result in water leaks and water damage.
Secure unit by tightening Screws (
7L
).
For temperature adjustment, refer to trim instructions.
For reversed inlet lines (back to back installation), refer to valve instructions.
